Cavo Winter Park Session

Client: DJ Cavo Aim: To create a multi-camera recording of Cavo's DJ set at Winter Park Ski Resort The client approached me with an idea in mind - to record his DJ set in a broadcast-style multi-camera configuration that also incorporates a 360-view camera. Given the runtime of the project, location layout and changing lighting conditions, it was crucial to choose equipment with bigger memory storage for continuous recording in 4K resolution, longer optics and high dynamic range. As a result, a three-camera configuration consisting of Sony FX6 (Sony FE 70-200mm), Sony FS7 (Sony FE PZ 18-135mm) and Insta360 X3 was used. The soundtrack was recorded directly from the DJ mixer and synced with the video in post-production. The project was filmed live at the Mary Jane Base at Winter Park Ski Resort on May 24th, 2024.
