Rocky Mountain National Park

Aim: To perform a camera test on Trail Ridge Road in the Rocky Mountain National Park The purpose of the following project was to test the setup consisting of the RED Dragon-X 6K camera, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens and Schneider Hollywood Black Magic 1/4 filter. The footage was shot in 6K HD (5568 x 3132px) with 8:1 compression ratio. While the project's frame rate is 23.98fps, the actual recording frame rate varied between 47.95 and 71.93 frames per second. The color grade was inspired by Andrey Zvyagintsev's film "Leviathan", released in 2014. I do not own rights to musical compositions from the "Akhnaten" opera, composed by Philip Glass and performed by the Metropolitan Orchestra and Chorus.
