Experimental poker
Class: Moving Image Computer Foundations (University of Colorado in Boulder) Aim: To produce a short experimental film The following experimental film was produced for my Moving Image Computer Foundations class (CINE2010) at the University of Colorado in Boulder in Fall 2021. With a strong emphasis on cinematography and color, the film allows the viewer to focus on two aspects of the poker game, while all other distractions, including identities, are eliminated. Accompanied by Combustible Edison's composition "Vertigogo" (I do not own rights to this musical composition), the film's cyclical structure summarizes the game of poker in a nutshell, where cards keep changing and the time flies by.
