The Road To Ironman Kona
Client: Andrey Yatskov (Ironman Kona 2019 participant) Aim: To produce a film about The participant's road to the final ironman race - ironman kona 2019 For this project, I made a film for my friend and my swimming coach about his road to Ironman Hawaii (Kona) 2019. The client agreed to two days of shooting in two different countries (Moscow, Russia and Boulder, Colorado), two re-edits of the final project, one royalty-free musical composition and a mastered version of the interview. The client expected one 10-minute full cut and one less than a minute teaser that could be posted on social media, all of which were successfully fulfilled. The film was shot in 60fps to allow slow-motion in post-production, with the following equipment: Sony A7iii with f2.8 24-70mm lens, Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal, GoPro Hero 6 and Phantom 4 Pro+. The film also features inserts of iPhone footage, which was provided by the client.
